With Valentine's Day just round the corner, it felt apt to focus today's newsletter on love. Or, more specifically, the love shared between King Charles and Queen Camilla. It would be an understatement to say their love story has had its moments of drama but, like all good dramas, it has stood the test of time. And in light of Charles’ recent cancer diagnosis, the love of “his rock” is needed now more than ever.
Camilla was always Charles' one true love. A controversial point, but if he'd been allowed to marry her from the beginning, she wouldn't have gone through those painful years as public enemy number one, particularly after Charles admitted to their affair while he was married to Diana. Not to mention the pain felt by Diana too.
