So how did you get on with yesterday’s prize crossword? Hopefully the royal clue allowed you to complete it successfully and enter! If you are yet to play, you aren’t too late with tomorrow being the deadline for entries.
Tuesday to Friday’s royal-themed crosswords
Tuesday’s puzzle is the first crossword of the week you will need to complete if you want to have a chance of identifying our royal theme of the week. Given this is all new, for the purposes of absolute clarity, these crosswords are separate to our Monday prize crossword.
How do they work?
The logistics are simple. Each day’s crossword will contain one royal answer which you should make a note of. Come Friday, if you have successfully completed all four of our royal-themed crosswords, you should have made a note of four royal answers. These answers will all be linked by a common royal theme which you will then need to identify. Of course, you may well get the theme after just a couple of crosswords, but unfortunately we can’t allow you to put the answer in the comments until Friday’s post!
Is there a prize?
There is no official prize for identifying the royal theme, but the first person who does get in the comments on Friday with the correct answer will be officially crowned ‘Royal Club Puzzler of the Week’. And we’re sure you agree that such regal recognition is worth all the prizes in the world!
