Hello, Royal Clubbers, it’s Millie here, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on a topic I am very passionate about: royal headwear.
When we think of kings and queens of ages gone by, bold and regal images come to mind. Stately heads, chins tilted upwards and a signature headpiece denoting that the wearer is no ordinary mortal.
The monarchy in recent years has undergone a necessary shift to modernise with the times, but there’s one element I’d rather like them to hold onto – royal headpieces. Crowns, tiaras, diadems and coronets are not only visually stunning, but deeply symbolic too. There’s something about seeing a royal in their full regalia that I think can’t be understated.
