I have been wearing brooches since I was a child; the first one Irememberwas an emeraldgreen bunny brooch that I wore at Christmas and Easter when I was about4 or 5 years old. I have brooches that were handed down from family members as well as ones that are my own. I never stopped wearing them. Brooches make such a fantastic accessory that I can't live without them especially on jackets with labels and on many dresses. I always say look to Queen Elizabeth II for accessory ideas; she always dresses in good taste. When all else fails, wear pearls!
I am so HAPPY for her, she has a beautiful smile and will do well in her new role!

Paloma Picasso's X brooch...my husband gave it to me when I graduated nursing school.
I love to wear my father’s war medal (1939-45) on special memorial days &
the special tribute poppy on 11/11 too.
This a a Regimental Badge, not just a brooch.
